Obituary of Toula Volgar

Toula Volgar (nee Zarifopoulos) Age 88. At rest Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at her home in Midlothian, IL. Born in Krestena, Hleias, Greece to the late Panogiotis and Sotiroula (Gainnopoulos). Immigrating to the United States in 1964 and settling in Joliet in 1966. Member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church and the Pholiptochos Society. Survived by her sister, Dina Kougioumtzis of Midlothian; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by her loving husband of 45 years, Paul Volgar; and two brothers, George Pappas and Angelo Zarifopoulos. All friends and relatives are invited to meet on Friday, April 17, 2015 at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 102 N. Broadway Street, Joliet at 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 9:30 a.m. Fr. Stephen Bithos officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to all Saints Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday at the Fred C.
