Obituary of Maryellen Ciuffini

Maryellen Ciuffini (nee Stofan) Age 79. At rest Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born December 11, 1935 in Joliet to the late John and Elizabeth (nee Mati) Stofan. An animal lover who enjoyed her cats. Survived by her children, Charles "Chuck" (Brenda), Ernest "Ernie" (Jackie), Rita M. Ciuffini and Jimi H. Cooley; grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of many; siblings, John (Laura) Stofan, George (Irene) Stofan and Betty Miner; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert "Bobby" Ciuffini; brother-in-law, Lucian Miner; and grandson, Charles A. Ciuffini. Funeral Services for Maryellen K. Ciuffini will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. John Vianney Church, 401 Brassel Street, Lockport for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the Mass.
