Obituary of Paul Richards

Paul D. Richards Age 58, died suddenly in Arlington, WA, where he had resided for many years. Born September 25, 1956 in Joliet, IL to the late Dolores (nee Buell) and Donald L. Richards. He was raised in Lockport, IL and attended Reed Grade School and Lockport Township High School. Paul was the much loved fiance of Naty Reyes of North Vancouver, Canada; beloved brother of Raymond (Lorry) Richards of Crest Hill, IL, Kathleen (Rudy) Lorenz of Shorewood, IL, Stephen (Deb) Richards of Woodland, IL, Debbie Anhalt (Lane Plunkett) of Golden Valley, AZ, Penny (Frank) Wright of Lockport, IL and Ronald Richards of Shorewood, IL; loving uncle, great uncle and fond cousin to many. Preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved niece, Andrea Anhalt. Paul received his Culinary Arts training in Mt. Lake Terrace, Washington and enjoyed the hospitality industry. For the last 18 years, he worked in maintenance at Lakewood High School near Arlington. We will always keep his memory alive and find solace in knowing he truly enjoyed the beauty of the Northwest, where he called home the past 36 years. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 11, 2015, 12:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (Hills of Rest). Visitation Monday from 11:00 a.m. until services begin at the funeral home.
