Obituary of Lois Churchill

Lois F. Churchill "Susan" (nee Hoffman) Age 74. At rest Sunday, November 21, 2010 at her home surrounded by family. Born in Chicago to the late Arthur and Nell Hoffman, she resided in Joliet for over 50 years. Retired from the Joliet Grade School District #86 in 1994 following 30 years of service. Member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was an active volunteer for Silver Cross Hospital. Surviving are two children, Kimberly (David) Schrey of Florida and Robert (Wendy Jo) Churchill of New Lenox; five grandchildren, Robert (Rebecca) Churchill, Alicea Toso, Paula Toso, Aaron Schrey and Clara Schrey; one great-grandson, Robert Churchill Jr.; several nieces and nephews. A special thought of love to her niece, Kathy Moeller, for her time, compassion and care. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert (2006); parents; and one sister, Charlotte Cleary. Funeral Services for Susan Churchill will be Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rodney A. Juell officiating. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
