Obituary of Ronald Rockovski

Ronald (Rocko) Victor Rockovski was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in March 2015. After a courageous fight, he lost his battle on August 6, 2015. Rocko was 55 years old. Born to parents, Victor Rockovski and the late Joann (Saban) Rockovski on November 1, 1959. Rocko is survived by his father, Victor Rockovski; sisters, Patty Walters and Lisa Johnson; nieces, Kaeleigh Walters and Alexis and Tori Johnson; aunt and uncle, Lorraine and Bud Crettol; cousins, Mark and Roxanne Crettol; his best friend, Lynn Matheny and his Jett Super Wash and VFW Families. Preceded in death by his mother, Joann; grandparents, Alma and Victor Rockovski and Joseph and Ann Saban and his uncle, Mike Saban. Rocko worked at Super Wash for more than 20 years. Rocko had many loves in his life: his job, his family, and his friends. Cremation rites will be honored. A memorial service will take place at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with the service starting at 11:15 a.m. Memorials can be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice in his name would be appreciated.
