Obituary of Shirley Connor
Shirley M. Connor
(nee Schoob)
Age 80. Peacefully, Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Morris Hospital.
Shirley loved life. She married the love of her life, George Connor, and had 50 wonderful years with him until the good Lord called him home. From that union they were blessed with children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and lifelong memories. Along with Shirley and George's many travels, she enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society in Tarpon Springs, FL. Where there was a good Bingo game, Shirley could sometimes be found, winning! Dinners with the family and friends were the rule not the exception. The world came to a stop when the grandchildren and great-grandchildren were around, because she loved above all else that precious time with them.
Preceded by her beloved husband, George Connor.
Survived by her son, Faron (Deborah) Connor of Channahon; one grandson, Jason (Jana) Connor or South Wilmington; one granddaughter, Amanda (Mike) Allen of Plainfield; five great-grandchildren, Madison, Leia and Alexis Connor, and Nicholas and Joey Allen; and many special friends.
