No words can heal the loss of such a splendid soul, but hopefully hundreds of happy memories of shared times and Gen's joy in her family-- extended to so many she welcomed into her embrace -- will be what everyone remembers and rejoices in. Much love to Lynn, Mark, John, Gil, Theresa, Jeff and Faith especially.
Grandma Scheubie, Gen Scheuber, whatever names we called her were all loving ones because we knew her as a lovely lady who never was heard to say an unkind word. Having known her for many years...nearly 45, I would say she is someone I was always happy to see! I would imagine her loving husband and son and her bunch of siblings greeted her when she left her grieving family here and passed over. We send our hugs to her family in Joliet who will miss her as will we.
Her beautiful smile, her kind and generous heart, her sweet little chuckle and the twinkle in her eye ... I always looked forward to seeing "Grandma Gen" on my visits to Joliet. She was loved and will be missed by many.
