Obituary of Jennie Curtiss

Jennie A. Curtiss (nee Panico) Age 62. Suddenly, Friday, September 9, 2011 at RML Specialty Hospital following a courageous battle with myotonic muscular dystrophy. Born and raised in Chicago, she was a Shorewood resident for the past 14 years. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her father, Ambrose Panico (1965); one brother, Nello Panico; and one aunt, Catherine Nicoletti. Survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Scott W. Curtiss, Sr. of Shorewood; her mother, Sylvia Panico of Shorewood; one son, Scott ("Mikey") Curtiss, Jr. of Oak Lawn; two daughters, Deanna (Matthew) Mihalek of Downers Grove and Cheryl (Brian) King of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Scott Ray Curtiss, Jared King and Jessica King. Funeral Services for Jennie A. Curtiss will be Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to Holy Family Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Mausoleum.
