Obituary of Edna D'Atri

Edna "Sandy" D'Atri (nee Brown) Passed away December 31, 2010, Sandy peacefully joined her eternal family in heaven, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 4, 1925 in Rochester, Illinois. She is survived by Anthony, her devoted and loving husband of 63 years. She leaves her 4 children, Kathleen (Curtis) McCune, Pat D'Atri, Debra (George) Hasler, and Michael (John) D'Atri. She also is survived by 8 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Rosie) McCune, Anthony McCune, Christopher (Becca) D'Atri, Matthew D'Atri, Nicole Hasler, Michelle (Scott) Green, Jennifer (Bryan) DeBourge, and Sarah Hasler. In addition, she was blessed with 3 great grandchildren, Benjamin, Abigail, and Emily McCune. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Tony; her parents, Clarence and Emma Brown and her 3 sisters. Her favorite activities included spending time with her family, camping and traveling with her husband. Her family wishes to give a special thank you to her devoted doctors, Dr. Daniele DeGirolami and Dr. Kristopher McDonough. Also her caring nurses at Provena St. Joseph's CICU, Lisa, Simon and Ashley. Funeral services for Sandy D'Atri will be Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt.
