I am very saddened to hear of Myron's passing. I have so many happy childhood memories because of him and you Karen. You opened up your home to all of us kids in the neighborhood and we had a great time no matter what we were doing while visiting at your home. From bonfires and scavenger hunts, to riding motorcycles and three wheelers, to carving pumpkins and Halloween costume parties! You and Myron sure made it fun! My prayers and deepest sympathies to you Karen for your loss. He was a great soul and will be missed by all.
Deepest condolences,
Dee Dee Humphreys Wignes

We are sending condolences to Karen and sharing some of our memories of Myron. Our Father, Orval Claypool, was in the Air Force, as a family, we did not get to know our cousins very well that lived in Morris. When we would visit, everyone got together and had a picnic at Uncle Lyle's place! I do remember Myron. I was about 10 years old, he and my cousin David, would give us motorcycle rides around Uncle Lyle's place and it was the first time I had ever been on a motorcycle; scared me half to death, but FUN! My Dad called Myron all the time, they would talk trapshooting, hunting, and fishing stuff. As my Dad got older, and after Uncle Lyle passed on, Myron would call him just to make sure he was okay. When Dad got older and started losing his memory, Myron would call and he would think he was talking to Lyle again. But, Myron would bring a touch of happiness to my Dad...which kept Dad going from day to day. When Dad passed, Myron would call and make sure Mom and I were okay. It was like we had been close all our lives, we’d talk for quite a while, and we never lacked in conversations. I will miss him; he will be in our hearts and thoughts forever. I pray that Karen and the rest of the Claypool families remember him for his kindness and goodness, his compassion for animals, his love of life and the great outdoors. He can now cross that Rainbow Bridge and reunite with Jake.
Blessing to all,
The late, Orval and Eva Claypool Family,
