EUGENE C. DOLASIN
"Gene"
Age 82. Passed away on February 28, 2017 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 13, 1934 in Joliet to Casimir R. and Mary (nee Gregorich). Eugene started his career as a paper boy with the Joliet Herald Newspaper and retired in 1996 as a pressman. He was the founding member of the Joliet Radio Control Club and followed his lifelong passions for woodworking and fishing.
Preceded by his parents and his wife, Barbara (1996).
Survived by his children; Valerie (Colin Cradock) Dolasin, Richard (Lin Snavely) Dolasin and Diane (Eric) Karlsen.
Funeral Services for Eugene C. Dolasin will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials in his name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
