Belated condolences to Bob's family. I hope he and his wife did not suffer greatly, before their passing.
I met Bob from when we both worked at Economics Laboratory in Channahon, in the mid-80's. Great sense of humor, but more importantly, a real gentleman who treated women with respect (a credit, I'm sure, to his parents and his upbringing).
Though we did not know each other well or long, when I was preparing to move on to a new company, he surprised me with a thoughtful gift and a note that said "We will miss your sunshine around here". I have never forgotten that. Heaven has gained a good man.
