Obituary of Agnes Davis

Agnes C. Davis (nee Crossen) Age 96. Passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet and a lifelong resident. She was an active volunteer at Silver Cross Hospital and an active member of the First Presbyterian Church. Golfing was her passion. Surviving are four children, Mary Ann Gale, Jo Ann (Allan) Middaugh, Suzanne (Thomas) Streitz and Sally Ann (Richard) Schoch; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Joan Davis. Preceded in death by her husband, George B. Davis; one son, G. Bradley Davis; parents, George and Amy (nee Heggie) Crossen; and one granddaughter. A Memorial Service for Agnes C. Davis will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Rev. Dale Hammond officiating. Inurnment at First Presbyterian Church Columbarium.
