Just see the obituary. Being in AZ I don't keep up very much with what is going on in Joliet. Marshall is one of maybe 3 people I've ever called A friend. Many of the best times in my life were the hunting trips we made or the card games we went to. To this day I think back to them years. Marshall you were a true and loyal friend Yep you were one of A kind. I hope and pray we meet again

Mr. Mantia was my science teacher at Kelvin Grove about 1965, I believe in 7th grade. May God bless him, he was a kind, fun and interesting teacher who loved teaching. It was truly his calling. I am lucky to have had him as a teacher. I will always remember him.

My sympathy & prayers go out to the whole Mantia family. I was a student of Mr. Mantia and I always enjoyed his class. I learned about science, I learned about life, and I learned on the playground that I always had to be "around the corner". Thank you for the lessons, Mr. Mantia.
