Chuck was employed by the Postal Service for 33 years.  Upon retirement, he worked at Johnson Boat Motors.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 294.

Chuck was so proud of his two sons and always enjoyed spending time with them.  Some of his fondest memories were watching them play baseball while they were growing up.

Chuck enjoyed going on fishing trips up north with his friends; country and western music; John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies and was a Chicago Cubs fan.  He was never shy about voicing his colorful opinion to others.  He was truly “one of a kind” and will be missed and remembered by many.

He was always grateful to his good friend, Chuck Urbanek, whose support and friendship helped lift his spirits during his cancer treatments and recovery.  He was a 10 year cancer survivor.  We are so grateful to Dr. Modi for his care and compassion.  The love and prayers from our family and friends mean so much to us.

In honoring his wishes, there will be no visitation.  Private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Inurnment will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Morris.
