Obituary of Michael DeMarco

Michael Robert DeMarco Age 47, of Joliet, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 25, 1963 in Chicago, he was a 1981 graduate of Victor Andrew School. He worked as Manager and inside sales representative for Underground Pipe and Valve. Mike enjoyed NASCAR and all racing events, music and playing guitar, traveling and visiting Chicago, but most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Surviving are his beloved wife, Diana, nee Hix (McNamara) DeMarco; his children, Mike (April McDonnell) DeMarco and Dakota DeMarco; his parents, David and Mary Ann (nee Varga) DeMarco; his siblings, Cathy (Tim) Weber, Michele (John) Mirabal and John (Sheri) DeMarco; stepchildren, Jennifer (Kevin) St. John, Kyle (Ashley Laser) McNamara, and Brianna (Jared Churella) McNamara; grandchildren, Aaron, Anna, Bryden, Bethany and Colton; and nieces and nephews, Christopher, Kyle, Jonathon, Tyler, Karli and Zac. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Dennis and Ann Varga, and Joe and Linda DeMarco. Memorial Services for Michael Robert DeMarco will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
