Rousonelos and Nola Rousonelos, as he was very supportive during both my parents' passings by visiting the home. Rest in peace, Dr. Ted and may your memory be eternal. God bless you and your family.

We walked the path of Will-Grundy Medical Clinic together and it was a pleasure working with you. You and Wayne were associated through medicine and I was the associate who addressed community health. Now we're all out of the business but you will be remembered kindly for all your efforts in the community and ILLinois state. Carry on!

My deep sympathy in the passing of the best allergist in the Joliet area
for my family and friends, which Dr. Theodore M. Kanellakes, M.D., gave to our community! Everyone loved him, as he took his, God given position to help all those that came to him for help! He was always very happy, made you laugh, and never counted the time he took to listen to you, find a way
to examine and heal your concerns! He never turned you away, as he took the time to give you the best care, even if he had to work over time! He love people!
I met him under the guidance of Dr. Becker, allergist, now in heaven, and Dr. Ted was beginning his first year as an allergist, when I was 26, a new
teacher to Dist. 86. Joliet! He was eager to take good care of me, as I had been diagnosed with asthma, only person in my family to have it! He was the best I could have had, and he loved to help those in need, making you feel very positive towards the future! I was still with him, till he retired and sold his practice! I will always thank God for giving me the best doctor ever, and thankful for the love he gave our family! I am sure our Lord will reward him for his work well done! May you be at peace Dr. Kanellakes, with our Lord as you will be surely missed by the Joliet community and surrounding areas! Work well done Dr. Ted!

My condolences to the family. Ted was a great man whom I first met about 1990 as he gave advice to physicians in Sangamon County about creation of a free clinic for the medically underserved.
Subsequently I had the pleasure of serving with him for about 10 years on the board of trustees of the Illinois State medical Society. He never swerved from his devotion to patients and maintained that the highest level of practice was the most beneficial for patients and their physicians. All of us benefited from his great example of generous medical leadership with wonderful integrity.

I was honored to have Dr. K as my allergist for 10+ years. He was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and always made you feel important. He made you feel like you mattered, not just there for the money. He was a Dr. who really knew what he was doing.
I was disappointed when he told me he was retiring. The ones who replaced them were of no comparison.
I was just wondering about Dr. K last week. So sad to learn of his passing.
He always spoke so highly of his family.
Prayers to his family.

Dr. Kanellakes has remained a dedicated servant to the broader Joliet area community throughout his shining medical career, using his talent and wisdom to assist in addressing important social causes, particularly those related to health care. I was proud to have his guidance and support coming into the Easterseals organization where he served as Board President. Easterseals is the organization it is today in part by his dedication and perseverance. We are forever grateful to him and others that care so much.
I appreciate our long-standing mutual membership in the Rotary Club of Joliet. Despite his busy schedule as a practicing physician, Dr. Kanellakes maintained the required attendance and participation. Truly remarkable!
Most Sincerely,
Deb Condotti
