Obituary of Louis Doherty

Doherty, Louis A. Age 91. Peacefully Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Provena Villa Franciscan. Born in Providence, RI, he was a resident of Naugatuck, CT for many years and a Shorewood resident since 2005. A graduate of Rhode Island University Class of 1941. Retired from Uniroyal, Inc. after many years of service. Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the American Chemical Society. Survived by his daughter, Patricia (Darrell) Bruckert of Shorewood; three granddaughters, Lisa (Mike) Mougin of Denver, CO, Meghan (Raio) Krishnayya of Indianapolis and Tara Bruckert of Denver; two great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Gabriel Mougin. Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy D. (nee Dolan) Doherty (2005). Funeral Services for Louis A. Doherty will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
