Tammy and Eric we are so very sorry for the loss of your dad. Mr. Johnson was a loving father that we knew during our Chicago days. You two look so much like him then and now, so he will always be remembered when people see the two of you. Keep your hands in God's hands and you will be alright. Love you.

My heart and prayers go out to you all, my cousins, and to everyone who loves Uncle Jesse. His stories, his gentle spirit, his funny anecdotes about my dad growing up are all things that I will forever cherish. I will always remember Uncle Jesse coming into my baby shower nineteen years ago announcing, “I brought the baby carriage”. That and many more memories of him fill my heart with joy and gratitude. I was reminded yesterday, by perhaps his biggest fan, my dad, how blessed we are to have had him in our lives. May our handsome, generous and loving Uncle rest in eternal peace knowing that through his life many experienced the ultimate gift of love. .

My deepest and sincere condolences to you all for
your great loss! I am so grateful to have known Mr. And Mrs. Johnson. I’ve always loved and admired them as great examples of parents and very special neighbors!
I learned a lot about gardening from your mom! She displayed such joy with her beautiful garden and was so happy to teach me the correct way to plant and care for My flowers and garden!
May God Bless each of you with peace and all the comfort, strength and love you need to get you through this difficult time.
Love,
Staria

Dear Tammy,
My sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. Based on stories of your dad you shared with me he was a remarkable father and man who loved his family and worked to make a difference in the world by caring for children in need.
I'm sorry I never got the chance to sit down and talk with him but glad I got to meet him. You were dearly blessed having such a wonderful father. May he now rest in peace with all the loved ones gone before him. He is now your guardian angel watching over you until you see him again. Much love, Ma
