Obituary of Kyle A. Kosiba
Kyle A. Kosiba
At the age of 31, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, Kyle passed away suddenly, as the result of complications arising from a congenital heart condition. He was born in Joliet and was a lifelong Joliet area resident. Kyle graduated from Joliet Central High School, Class of 2006. Following high school, he found a profound enjoyment of people and the satisfaction of a hard day’s work at the Joliet Slammers stadium as a concession operator. He was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and was elated to see them win the World Series. Kyle loved life, but the light of his life was the love of his daughter, Kylie.
He was preceded by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Rosemary (nee Geegan) Kurtenbach and two aunts, Cheryl Lane and Cheryl Kosiba Jones.
Kyle is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Craig and Lori A. (nee Kurtenbach) Kosiba of Joliet; his beloved daughter, Kylie Kosiba; one brother, Michael Kosiba; one sister, Amanda Kosiba both of Joliet; and paternal grandparents, Stan and Hedy (nee Larsen) Kosiba of Ft. Myers, FL. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, with an almost brother like relationship with cousin Jeff Burcenski, also survive.
