My condolences to Mary Anne, the kids and the rest of the family.
Although I haven’t seen Chris in the 8 or 9 years after I left Exelon I was certainly shocked to hear about his passing.
We worked together for about 18 years. Started as Station Laborers together and entered Operations together. He was a great friend and crewmate both at work and outside of work. I am left with a lot of very good memories. Long, long days and nights on shift talking about everything imaginable. Many mornings after midnights pouring his never-ending concrete driveway one truck at a time, working on his back deck. Going to Northwestern football games, boating on the river, and of course having a few beers.
I’ve been out of Illinois for years now, but I do wish we could have gotten together one more time.
Rest in peace my friend, you live on in our memories.
