Helen J. Aultz

Age 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet, Illinois.  Born in Joliet, on October 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Lozar.  Helen attended Joliet Township High School, and was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church for over 60 years. Her greatest joy was getting together with family and friends for numerous celebrations. She lives on in all her children and grandchildren.   

Helen is survived by her children, Helen (George) Miller, Carol (Raymond) Weber, Robert (Kathy) Aultz, Marilyn (James) Evans, and Barbara (Lawrence) Spivey; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild  to arrive soon; and sisters, Mildred Thompson and Vera (Pete) Trepanier.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy W. Aultz; son, Raymond Aultz; brothers, Edward Lozar and Arthur Lozar; and sisters, Sophie Pavlich, Marie Haake, and Dorothy Burchett.

A Prayer Service for Helen J. Aultz will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 4:30 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.  Private graveside services will be held at a later date.  As it was Helen’s request, cremation rites have been accorded.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Sunny Hill Nursing Home, 401 Doris Ave., Joliet, IL 60433, for assistance in acquiring a wheelchair accessible van, would be appreciated.  Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of Prayer Service at 4:30 p.m.  For more information, please call 815-741-5500 or visit her Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
