Obituary of Norman R. Pryor

Norman Roger Pryor passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, at the age of 57, with his sister and a close friend by his side.  He was born on May 17, 1960, the oldest of three children.  He was raised in Crest Hill, IL, and graduated from Lockport High School, Class of 1978.

Norman was an easy going man who could get along with everyone.  You could meet him and instantly like him.  There wasn’t much that he let bother him.  He had a special bond with his nephew, Michael, who will miss him dearly.

Norman is survived by his mother, Nancy Pryor of Crest Hill, IL; his siblings, Kevin (Angie) Pryor and Tammy (the late Leonard William) Smith; his nephews, Leonard William (Katie) Smith, Anthony James Smith, Michael Roger Smith, and Justin Michael Lee Pryor; and is the great uncle of Calli and Leo Smith.   

He is preceded in death by his father, Glendon Roger Pryor; his maternal grandparents, Emmalene McPhearson and Waldo Abney; and his paternal grandparents, Iva and Ralph Pritchett.
