Obituary of Kyle Robert Stewart
Kyle Robert Stewart passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 42, at his home in Joliet, on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Kyle was born and raised in Joliet, IL, on December 4, 1975, to Robert and Patricia (nee McCarthy) Stewart and was a graduate of Joliet West High School. He’s been a dedicated Union Boiler Maker in the construction industry for more than 20 years. When he wasn’t working, Kyle enjoyed being outdoors in the sun, whether that was playing frisbee golf or traveling to Florida, with his two girls, to be in the waves on the beach.
Kyle is survived by his two daughters, Elyssa and Katelyn Stewart; his father, Robert Stewart; one brother, Cory Stewart; nephew, Devon Stewart; his aunt, Patricia (Joseph) Ramponi; and two uncles, Jim (Patricia) Stewart and Steve (Rose) Stewart.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia (nee McCarthy) Stewart (2012); his sister, Nicole Stewart (2016); and his grandparents, Leo and Kay McCarthy.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL. Interment will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to benefit his children would be appreciated.
