Patricia D. Roepke
(nee Parker)
Patricia Dawn Roepke, (nee Parker), age 82, of Hazel Crest, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Seasons Hospice in Naperville.
Born March 8, 1936 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Michael Palkovic and Hazel Dawn (nee McFadden) Parker. She was a 1954 graduate of the former St. Willibrord Catholic High School, in the Roseland neighborhood.
Pat was a caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved her grandchildren and was an active part of their lives. She was a person who would do anything for her family and friends, and put the needs of others before her own. If you asked her to do a favor, it was done immediately and without question. She loved swimming and lunching with her girlfriends, many of whom were lifelong friends since high school. Her family will always remember her beauty, both inside and out, and her unselfish and caring spirit.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Albert A. “Al” Roepke of Hazel Crest; one son, Daniel Roepke of Hazel Crest; one daughter, Dawn (Karl) Kirin of Shorewood; and three grandchildren, Olivia Dawn, Sydney Elizabeth and Luke George Kirin.
