Casey William Dobczyk

Age 32, of Wheaton, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the University of Illinois Chicago Hospital.  He was born and raised in Joliet, the beloved son of Gregg and Diana (nee Rodriguez) Dobczyk, and was a lifelong resident until moving to Wheaton in 2014.  A graduate of Joliet West High School, Class of 2004, he also attended Joliet Junior College.  Casey loved the game of golf, the Chicago Cubs and was a Tiger Woods fan.

Surviving is his wife, Maritza (nee Contreras) Dobczyk of Wheaton; his fur baby, Bentley; his parents, Gregg and Diana (nee Rodriguez) Dobczyk of Joliet; loving big brother to Austin Dobczyk of Joliet and Autumn Dobczyk of Joliet; maternal grandmother, Theresa (nee Orasco) Ortiz of New Lenox; paternal grandmother, Joyce (nee Carroll) Hartney of Channahon; son-in-law of Adrian and Maria (nee Liceaga) Contreras of Plainfield; and brother-in-law of Crystal Contreras of Washington.  Numerous cousins and dear friends also survive.

He was preceded by his maternal grandfather, John T. Rodriguez and paternal grandfather, William “Bill” Dobczyk.

A Visitation for Casey William Dobczyk will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Faith Bible Church, 1600 Schuster Ave., Joliet, where Casey will Lie In State from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 10:00 a.m., with Rev.
