Obituary of Christine A. Krause
Christine A. Krause, age 42, a lifelong resident of Joliet, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home early Tuesday, June 26, 2018, surrounded by her family. Christine was born on August 12, 1975, graduated from Joliet Catholic Academy, Class of 1993, and attended Bradley University.
Christine loved cooking, photography, Star Wars, The Avengers, The Beatles, anime and pretty much all things Disney. She loved to travel and was blessed to be able to tour many places domestic and abroad with family and friends. Mostly, though, Christine loved her family and was a key figure in semiannual family reunions. She also enjoyed spending time with her nieces and watching golf and baseball with her parents.
Christine is survived by her beloved parents, Lynn and Catherine (nee Bussey) Krause of Joliet; her siblings, Cathy (Steve) Madlinger of Batavia, IL, Karen (Joseph) Robertson of Joliet, Carolyn Krause of Joliet, and Michael Krause (Linda Lam) of Batavia, IL; and her nieces, Katie Robertson, Colleen and Caitlin Madlinger and Lauren and Emily Krause. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
She was welcomed into heaven by her grandparents; her uncles, Loren, Gaylen and Gary Krause, Walt Bussey, and James Buchar; and her loving aunt, Ginny (nee Bussey) Dow.
Christine’s family would like to extend special thanks to Elizabeth at Newsome Home Health, Cynthia at Joliet Area Community Hospice, and the staff at Loyola Cancer Center for their compassionate care.
