Frank G. Olbrot

Age 60, of Morris, IL and formerly Midlothian, IL, died at home with family at his side Friday, September 7, 2018 after battling cancer the past 10 years.  He was born August 25, 1958 to the late Veronica M. (Deruntz) and Frank V. Olbrot.

Beloved husband of 34 years to Pamela Sue (Skowronski) Olbrot; devoted father of Frank (Jamie) Olbrot, Jr.,  Brian (Katie) Olbrot and Christopher (Katya) Olbrot; proud and funloving grandpa of Kamren, Bryce, Avery, Teagan, Connor and Everlyn; dear brother of Veronica (William) Foster, Julia (George) Miles, Roger Olbrot, Anthony (Debra) Olbrot, Ronald (Debbie) Olbrot, Mark (Teri) Olbrot and Randal (Patricia) Olbrot.  Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Frank was the proprietor of Quality Millwork of Morris for over 20 years.  His hobbies included model trains, vintage cars, especially his 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix. He also enjoyed fishing trips to Minnesota and the beauty of nature there, however, nothing compared to the joy his grandchildren bestowed upon him. They will forever be his pride and joy.

Visitation for Frank will be held Tuesday September 11, 2018 from 3 – 8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Rt. 6 (at Deerpath Dr.) Morris.  Funeral service Wednesday September 12, 2018, 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 516 E. Jackson St., Morris where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials in his name can be made to the Blackbird Cancer Foundation, 1550 E.
