Paula Glenn, age 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.  Paula was born in Joliet, IL on December 23, 1946, to the union of the late Paul and Florine Zamkovitz.  She retired in 2000 from Jewel-Osco in Plainfield (Rt. 59 and Caton Farm).

Paula enjoyed gardening and filling her yard with beautiful flowers. She was a proud grandmother and adored spending time with her grandchildren.

Paula is survived by her husband of 45 years, James N. Glenn; three children, Michael (Grace) Harvey, Angela (Eugene) Holmes, and Michelle Glenn; seven grandchildren, Joanne, Relyn, Carson, Sydney, Jaxon, Nevaeh, and Antonio; and her sisters, Sharon Zamkovitz, Joyce ( the late John) Bertino, and Joan (Thomas) Riley.  She was also a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Paula’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Doctors and Nurses of Presence St. Joseph Medical Center for the time and gentle care they have shown Paula.

Memorial Gathering for Paula Glenn will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL. Her Memorial Service will take place Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
