Obituary of J. Suzette Korell

J. Suzette Korell, age 71, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.

She was born November 18, 1946, in Joliet, IL, to the late George M. and Catherine S. (Scholtes) Korell.

Surviving are her three sons, Chatwell D. "Chat" (Karen) Jones, Jr. of Shorewood, Jason C. Jones of Joliet, and Bryan A. Jones of Joliet; one grandson, Bo Daniel Jones; two sisters, Joyce M. (the late Alex) Stacy and Nancy J. (the late Walter) Taylor; one brother, Laverne (Lois) Korell; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Barbara Joan (the late Gene H.) Finney; and two brothers in infancy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (www.bcrf.org) or the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) would be appreciated.

A Memorial Service for Suzette will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Joliet Seventh-day Adventist Church, 21514 W. Division Street, Lockport, IL 60441 (Division and Gaylord). Cremation rites have been accorded.
