Bonnie G. Buchanan, age 65, of Morris, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet.  Bonnie was born on November 26, 1952, the daughter of Robert Rosenberger and Anna Lee (nee Sarks) Dial.  She was born and raised in Fairfield and Sandwich, IL, and later moved to Morris, IL.  Bonnie was a loving and devoted wife and mother who always put her family first.  

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Mike (Michelle) McConnell, Jason (Jennifer) McConnell, Andy (Carrie) Buchanan, Jeromy Buchanan, and Grant Buchanan; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Jacquelyn (Joe), Megan, Brianna, Kayla, Sydney, and Haley; three great grandchildren, Lizzie, Paisley, and Jace; her siblings, Terry Jackson, Robert (Sandra) Rosenberger, and Nicki (Dave) Butterfield; and her faithful and loyal canine companion, Chloe.  Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

She is preceded by her husband, Elmer M. Buchanan (2009) and her parents.

As it was Bonnie’s request, cremation rites have been accorded and services will be held privately by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Fred C. Dames Funeral Home and Crematory, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris, IL.
