Irma J. Brady, nee Oswald, age 87, late of Shorewood, IL passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Chicago, she was a longtime resident of Riverside, IL, and worked for many years as a legal secretary.

Irma was the loving mother of James (Gerry) Brady, JoAnn (Rick) Shields and Ann Marie (Tom) Finnegan; dearest grandmother of Rebecca (Jeremy) Dombro, Evan (Liz) Shields, and Tommy and Colin Finnegan; fond sister of Bill (Joan) Oswald; and dear sister-in-law of Jan Brady.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, James J. “Jim” Brady, II (March 7, 2016); her parents, Ignatz and Johanna (nee Jallitsch) Oswald; one brother, Frank (Winnie) Oswald; and one sister, Toni Treger.

Services for Irma Brady were private and interment was in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
