Obituary of Carlos Rodriguez

Carlos Rodriguez, age 63 of Morris, passed away at Morris Hospital on Monday, November 12, 2018, with his family by his side.  Born in Sterling, IL, Carlos was the son of the late Manuel and Guadalupe Rodriguez.  He was a retiree of Commonwealth Edison’s Collins Station.

Carlos is survived by his daughters, Amy (Michael) McCluskey of Winfield and Megan (Kyle) Borchers of Morris and was the loving “Pop-Pop” of Abigail and Jaxon Borchers and Keeleigh and Declan McCluskey.  He is also survived by his sisters, Linda (Joe) Martinez, Mindy (Mike) Bennett, Mary Laflair; his brother, Manuel Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Carlos and Baldemar Rodriguez.

Carlos was a kind and gentle soul with a beautiful sense of humor.  He loved buying special and thoughtful gifts for his family, in particular his four grandchildren, which they will now forever cherish.

A beautiful soul, like Carlos, will never be forgotten.
