I grew up in Sunnyland Subdivision with Linda and walked to her house to "play dolls" with her and Debbie Frangella during third and fourth grades. We frequently sat together on the schoolbus and played together at recess. She and I also saw each other occasionally as college students during the brief merger between Lewis College and the College of St. Francis. Linda was a truly pure and good spirit who brought ease and laughter to everyone who knew her. I had hoped she would attend our Plainfield High School 50th class reunion in 2019; she will certainly be there in spirit. My deepest sympathy to Linda's family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Linda. She was such a wonderful friend. We met Linda and Rod during a Joliet Junior College Class many years ago when all of our children were little. We have had so many laughs together since then. Linda, you always brightened my day. You are now in Heaven with all your loved ones that have passed. (Please give Bobby a Hug). God Bless You and I will miss you Linda.... Until we meet again, Love Sue

I was very saddened to hear of Linda's passing. My memories of Linda started in our childhood with Debbie Frangella, my sister Jan (Mimi) Werner and myself. We would play school during the summer. I also remember Che Che and all the things we did, I too remember Pamper the pet lamb and how she would follow us. The playhouse was also a fun place for us as little girls. I do recall the cat clock too! I also remember the purple flowers that were around her house and we would have contests to see how many buds we could "pop". In our day, we played outside and used our imagination. Gosh, so many great memories of all of us growing up together as children!
One of the funniest memories I have of Linda was when we were older and I was married, my sister and her came by my apartment and Linda proceeds to lay down on the living room floor and do the best impression of baking frying that I have ever seen. I can still see her thrashing about on the floor doing her best sizzling bacon. We laughed until we cried. Linda brought joy and love to many people throughout her life and now may she rest in peace. My thoughts are with Rod, her beautiful daughters and the Myers family as they cherish Linda's memory.
Linda, thanks for the memories! you made a difference to me and so many others. Now heaven has a new angel and I am sure there will never be a dull moment!

I am so saddened to hear about Linda's passing. We were childhood friends/neighbors. In recent years, we reconnected on the Internet. Through the years, I have shared this story with many--and, not long ago, Linda and I laughed with remembering together. Linda had a pet lamb which she named Pamper. Pamper was quite domesticated and followed Linda and me wherever we played. Sweet, sweet lamb! Then, one day, Pamper disappeared. "Perhaps someone took her because she was so tame", we were both told. When we were older teens, we finally heard the truth. Pamper became tasty meals for her family (and ours since we shared many meals together--her mother being best friends with my mother.) We ate Pamper! So glad we both had a sense of humor and the adults waited until we were much older to tell us what really happened! Linda said that she, too, has told this story to her friends throughout the years! Pamper, the playhouse with the cat clock---and just hanging out together bring sweet memories of our youth! May you, Linda, eternally rest in the peace, love, and joy of the Lord! Blessings and prayers for all her family, especially for Dickie, Kimmy, Mark, and Pat, who still have purposes in this lifetime. Linda is certainly with her mother and father, her sisters, Helen and Baby Carm in heaven!

Dear Rod and family, so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. My heart goes out to all of you. I remember when you both lived in the trailer by us and I’d come y to visit. Then Mom would come visit and her and Linda have a glass of wine. Lot of great memories with you both! Prayers for her and you and your family Rod! She will be truly missed.

Linda’s passing is such a huge loss to so many of us, family and friends.
She was a beautiful person, saw good in everyone!
I wish I was more poetic, but relied on Linda to be my wordsmith .
She will be sorely missed.
Love, Joan
