Obituary of Marion Dwyer
Marion Dwyer, age 97, and a lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
Born July 23, 1921 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva (nee Noor) Mavrogeanes.
Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Dwyer; loving mother of Marilyn (Thomas) Julian, Carol (Edward) Collins, and Robert (Brenda) Dwyer, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Thomas (Rebecca) Dorris, Joseph (Kathryn) Julian, Ryan (Lisa) Collins, Robert (Danielle) Collins, Christine Steffie, Robert (Anita) Dwyer, III , and Rebecca (Clayton) Hall; dearest great-grandmother of fourteen; fond sister of the late James (the late Mary) Mavrogeanes; the late Catherine (the late Russell) Ciamprone, and Catherine (the late Thomas) Steffan; and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Marion Dwyer will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. Services will be held Friday, at 2:00 p.m., at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Chapel, 6001 W 111th Street, Alsip, IL.
