Obituary of Sharon L. Webster

Sharon L. Webster
(nee Ludtke)

Age 76, late of New Lenox, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Rosewood Care Center.  Born November 30, 1942 in Joliet, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (nee Loetscher) Ludtke, residing in New Lenox the past 44 years.  She graduated from Providence High School and was formerly employed by Lincoln-Way Central High School in New Lenox.  Sharon was a Gold Star Member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #1977.  She enjoyed scrapbooking, making a variety of greeting cards, gardening, ceramic painting and quilting.    

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert W. Webster; her two sons, Joel Ludtke and Brian Webster all of New Lenox; her brother, William (Mary Ann) Ludtke of Las Crucas, NM; and her beloved canine companion, Chloe.  Numerous loving nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded by her parents and her daughter, Toni Marie Webster.

Visitation for Sharon L. Webster will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave., New Lenox, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.  For more information, please call 815-741-5500 or visit her Memorial Tribute at www.fredcdames.com
