Lois G. Orlovich
(nee Fox)

Age 90, of Shorewood, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 12, 2018.  Born July 19, 1928 in Joliet, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (nee Betzwiser) Fox.  Lois was a graduate of Providence High School and retired from Joliet 7 Up after many years of dedicated service as an Office Manager.  A sweet lady that enjoyed sewing and quilting, she was loved by many.    

Lois is survived by her sisters-in-law, Catherine “Kay” Fox, Carol Fox and Lois A. Orlovich; niece, Cathy (“Butch”) Craig; nephews, Daniel (Deb) Fox, Jon (Joyce) Fox, Ray (Susan) Fox and Roger Fox; and Kathy (Bill) Harper and numerous other loving nieces and nephews from the Orlovich family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Steve Orlovich (9/21/2017); her parents; and brothers, Donald C. Fox and Leo H. Fox.  

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lois’ caregivers, Joyce Kozlowski and Galyna Kofman, and to the entire staff of the Timbers of Shorewood for their kind and compassionate care.

Visitation for Lois G. Orlovich will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 18 Woodlawn Ave., Joliet.  Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.  Fred C.
