Obituary of Henry Lee Chandler
Henry Lee Chandler, who was born on September 1, 1952 in Joliet, IL. He was born to Frankie Lee and Ola Mae Chandler. He graduated from Gompers Junior High School in Joliet, IL. He continued his education at Joliet Central High School, graduating with a football scholarship. Henry went on to college at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL and became a Certified Chef after graduation. He was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears, he also enjoyed playing his guitar and loved music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frankie and Ola Mae Chandler; his sister, Shirley Jean Chandler Martin and half-brother, Derek Chandler of Toledo, OH.
He leaves to cherished memories, his two sons, Jeremy and Zacharia Chandler; three brothers, Frankie (Irene) Chandler, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Tommy Chandler of Chicago Heights, IL, David (Wendy) Chandler of Freeport, NY; four sisters, Ella (Clifford) Bryant of Chicago Heights, IL, Marlene Chandler of Michigan City, IN, Thelma Jones of Los Angeles CA, Denise Chandler of New Lenox, IL; his half-brothers, David Chandler, Frank Chandler and Timothy Chandler all of Joliet, IL; half-sisters, Roslinda chandler and Tammy Chandler Jones both of Joliet, IL; Chermine Chandler of Toledo, OH; brother in-law, Aaron Martin of Pasadena, CA; special friends, John Ledbetter, and Jan Chandler both of Joliet, IL, many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
