Obituary of Robert Eisenhammer

Robert J. Eisenhammer "Hammer" Age 84. At rest Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital. Born in Wisconsin, raised on the southside of Chicago and a resident of Joliet for over 30 years. Retired from the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Local #1. A World War II U.S. Marine Corp. veteran. Member of VFW Cantigny Post #367. An avid card player, poker being the game of choice. Surviving are two children, Robert (Diane) Eisenhammer of Shorewood and Deborah (Robin) Schwartz of Romeoville; two grandchildren, Melissa Ann and Matthew Paul Schwartz; two sisters, Blanche and Rose; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by his wife Rosalie (1992); his parents, Bohuslav and Ruzena Eisenhammer; and two sisters, Elsie and Marie. Funeral services for Robert J. Eisenhammer will be Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Church of St. Jude for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
