Obituary of John Elwood

Elwood, John P. "Packy" Age 69, of Winnetka, IL passed away April 13, 2011 at Highland Park Hospital after a long illness, with his family by his side. Son of the late Jack and Rita (Feeney) Elwood of Winter Haven, FL and formerly of Joliet. Beloved husband of Carol; loving father of Keith and Scott; dear brother of Sheila (Hamid) El Musrati, and Nan (Peter) Parker both of Florida; fond uncle of Khalid El Musrati, Mary Beth Davis and Paige Shanahan; cherished nephew of Rosemary (Norbert) Zielinski, Viola (Ray) Budzinski, and Rita (late Bob) Blaskie. Also left to mourn his passing are many dear cousins and a host of treasured friends. A graduate of Joliet Catholic High School, and Northern Illinois University. Employed by Dain Rauschel Investment Services in Chicago as first Vice President. Mass of Christian Burial was held at Ss. Faith Hope and Charity Church in Winnetka. Private interment at Mt.
