(Written by Robert's wife, Janet)
Sorry to hear of the passing of this wonderful man and fellow 265 brother. Grateful also, for his service in WW II. My father, Art Kempiak, was not in the service but worked in Seneca,IL as a sheet metal worker on the river, building the LSTs for the US. It is very special to know that Art DeLorenzo proudly served and survived his landing on Omaha Beach. God Bless your family and rest in peace. Job well done.
