He was a graduate of Merrill High School where he was a member of the baseball and football teams and was recently honored for being one of the oldest alumnae; an event he truly enjoyed.

Norman retired from the United States Postal Service after more than 40 years of dedicated service. He could be described as a “hands-on” doer who could fix just about anything. In his younger years he coached several sports and truly enjoyed mentoring and observing young athletes learn the fundamentals and importance of teamwork.
As it was Norm’s wish, cremation rites have been accorded. He and Emily’s final earthly remains will be interred at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL at a later date.
