I remember when you would wait for me outside of St. Thad’s & walk me home from school. Even when I went to Cunningham you would drive the distance to wait for me still. You’d be waiting for me to walk me home no matter where I was as a child. You even drove to Danny’s school to drive him home as well. You took care of us & made sure we were safe.when we lived on the east side w you, we’d go to certified grocery store & you’d buy me the Mexican fruit roll ups, pan dulce & the red Gatorade w the sippy cap, you’d buy yourself lottery tix, you’d always say “you have to play to win.” I remember when any of us couldn’t find or see something you’d say “peel the eyes!” Or EVERY TIME you’d see us you’d say “keep et goin! Keep et goin!” To encourage us to never give up on our dreams. Once we got older you’d always remind us to stay from drugs & don’t drink. You backed those words of encouragement w stories you had to go thru w people who betrayed you. You always had faith in life & God. I love how spiritual you became & how much life turned around for you. Iloveyou Lito, I know your waiting until we meet again XO

Ever since I can remember you were like a father to me. Kind, caring and giving. Always sharing your love and laughter, that meant so much to me. You could never forget when I was a child I used to cry for "Tole"!!!! And you being that wonderful father figure would go to the store to buy milk so that my aunt could make me a bottle with oatmeal. For that and for many other things I am so grateful to you. I'm heartbroken to know that I will never see you again on this earth. With Gods grace, one day soon our souls will meet again.
