Obituary of Nolan L. Heinz
Nolan L. Heinz, age 68, of Shorewood, IL, passed away suddenly, Monday, April 15, 2019, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born on November 7, 1950 in Elmhurst, IL, he was the son of the late Sollie and Bertha (nee Ott) Heinz. Nolan was raised and educated in Wheaton, IL. He also resided in West Chicago and then Naperville before relocating to Shorewood in 2007.
Nolan, a retired machinist of over 30 years, also drove a school bus for Naperville School District #203 for eight years. His hobbies included reading, gaming on his tablet and genealogy.
Beloved father of Tabby (Jonathan) Wuollet and Sabrina Heinz, both of Shorewood; step-grandfather of twins, Christopher and Rachel Woods of Lombard; and brother of Larry Heinz of Maryland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many cousins and his canine companion, DaeZ Mae.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nita E.J. (Young) Heinz; his parents; and three brothers, Lyle, LeRoy (in infancy) and LeRoy Heinz.
As it was Nolan’s request, cremation rites have been accorded and interment will be held privately by the family. He supported the Gift of Hope organization and those who wish to honor Nolan can contribute to that organization in his name.
