For a brief period our children attended school at St. Pat's. It was Patty who welcomed us to the parish! I never will never forget how years later she still remembered me when we sat together at Boobie Bingo. Patty Always offered a friendly smile and will be dearly missed. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to the Adler family and friends during this sad time. Peace be with you.

My sincerest sympathy for the Adler and Gentile Family,
Patty was THE Sunshine in the room or space she was in at all times, I cannot remember a single moment where I saw here without a smile and a happy attitude going all the way back to 1973 when I first met her in 3rd Grade at Elwood Grade School. Patty always made me/anyone feel important and welcomed, to the conversation.
She will be dearly missed and I can only hope that your family keeps the fond memories of her at the top of your thoughts.
Love,
John Turner.

Dear Jay and Adler family,
We are just so shocked about this. We will miss that beautiful smile and that loud happy laugh. All the memories of our Cancun vacation came rushing back with puking Patty and Retching Rick. We’ve never had so much fun as that trip . Where ever Patty was there was always fun and laughter usually organized by her. I can’t imagine how you guys feel. Please accept our heart felt condolences and our deepest love at this rough time. Heaven gained another angel. Now she is looking down on you. You’ll have little reminders all so very suttle around you letting you know she is there. Love to you all. Rick and Denise Shroba.

Hi Jenny,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.
You and I worked together at the Chicagoland Speedway together one summer many years ago. You and your family invited and took my to a Kenny Chesney concert. Your mother was so kind to me the few times I met her that summer. She made me feel welcome and comforted while I was living away from my own family. I’ll never forget that weekend I spent with you and your family. I had so much fun and will always be grateful for your kindness.
You and your Mom will be in my thoughts and prayers.

This stuns me on so many levels...Patti was a person you just wanted to be close to, if for no other reason than to be in her presence. She always had a kind manner, and one of those "light up the room" smiles for anyone, whether you were an old friend or a new acquaintance.
I know the world will be a much emptier and somber place with her not there to fill and liven it up.
I can only express my condolences to those you have left behind, but I can only express my joy in having the honor to have known you personally.
God speed Patti...for you have "slipped the surly bonds of earth" and "touched the face of God"...

Our hearts go out to all of the Joliet community. I have had the distinct pleasure of not only working with but along side Patty many moons ago while our children attended St. Patrick's school. Whether we were gathering items for Raffles, hot lunches, chairing Fun Fair or just laughing and cheering on all of the students on and off the court, stage or while listening to them sing or swing bells on parish alter... she made it FUN, meaningful and unforgettable. She is unforgettable! We are all blessed to have known her, shared a laugh with her or sharing stories over a cocktail. Heaven has gained an angel amongst Angel's. May her perpetual light forever shine over each of her beloved and cherished friends and family. You are all in my prayers. My heart will forever be grateful to have had the opportunity to call you "friend".
