Obituary of Madge M. Plutz
Madge M. “Maureen” Plutz, age 73, of Joliet, passed away suddenly, Sunday, August 4, 2019 at home.
She was born July 6, 1946 in Hawaii, to Ira and Constance (nee Mosher) Haywood. Maureen worked as an anesthesiologist aide at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center for many years, and also volunteered for Crisis Line and the Department of Children and Family Services.
Maureen was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved traveling, going on cruises, and spending time with her grandkids.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 55 years, Earl A. Plutz of Joliet; two sons, Gregory Plutz of Crest Hill and Robert (Loretta) Plutz of Plainfield; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Eden, Abbey, Elysia (Keith), Matthew, Jacob and Sean; one brother, Kevin (Amy) Haywood; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Kathy Reinke; and one brother, Kim Haywood.
A Memorial Gathering for Maureen Plutz will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 6:00 p.m., at the Fred. C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. Interment will be private.
