Heinrich Karl Fischer
Age 71. Passed away peacefully, Tuesday April 20, 2010 at Salem Village. Born in Germany. Emigrated to Illinois in 1955. Worked as a patternmaker in the family business, Fischer Pattern, Inc. for 25 years. Retired from Romar Cabinet in Channahon. Former member of the Joliet Moose Lodge #300 and the Moran A.C.
Survived by his wife, Georgena; two step-sons, Noel (Michelle) Kirsch and Lance (Kathryn) Kirsch; two brothers, Ernst (Ursula) and Ewald (Marilynn); one sister, Dorothea (late Jack) French; one step-grandson, Ewan Kirsch; brother-in-law, J. Patricio Garaicoa; nieces, Erika Ann and JoAnn Garaicoa, Erika Lynn (Jim) Rock, Michelle (Tim) Cullik and Christine French; nephews, Pat Garaicoa, Daniel (Cindy) Fischer, Albert (Heather) Fischer and Jack French. Many grandnieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded by his parents, Heinrich G. and Johanna Fischer; sister, Erika Garaico; brother-in-law, Jack French.
The Fischer family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Salem Village and Passages Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
Private funeral services were held. NO VISITATION.
