Obituary of John L. McGlone

John L. “Jack” McGlone, of Morris, IL, formerly of Boulder City, NV and Matteson, IL, died September 28, 2019, at age 93. Jack was born March 21, 1926, in Gary, IN, to John J. and Berniece McGlone. He married Betsy Stephan in 1951. She predeceased him in 1983. He married Susanne Hart in 1985, who survives. Jack was a graduate of the University of Illinois and was a pilot for American Airlines for 31 years. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, boating, photography and genealogy research.

He is also survived by his daughters from his first marriage, Susan (Paul) Aleckson and Diane (Buz) Koester; his granddaughters Christine Koester Davis (Ryan) and Lynne Koester; and soon-to-be great-granddaughter Davis.

Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, followed immediately by a service at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive in Morris.
