Virginia A. Murphy

Age 79, of Morris, IL and a former longtime Chicago resident, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, November 1, 2019, at Park Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center in Morris.  She was born on February 19, 1940, to the late Mildred (Tilliander) and Frank Wilkins in Chicago where she was raised, educated and lived most of her adult life. She also resided in Naperville for a few years before moving to Hanover, IL, eventually retiring to the Coal City and Morris area.

Virginia is survived by her son, Scott Chapman; son-in-law, Kerry Kalchbrenner  (Robin);  granddaughters, Tina (Brett) Shannon and Cynthia Hullet;  sisters, Janice Elledge & Mildred Redick; great-grandchildren Hayley,  Caden,  Jocelynn,  Jasmine,  Lillyann and Skylar; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Murphy, her daughter Cathie Kalchbrenner; and her parents.
