Peggy and Family,
Our sympathy and prayers... You always supported our business (JJsport) throughout many years and were so special to us.
May God comfort you with many fond memories of all the lives you have touched and influenced.
I have so many wonderful memories of Sensei Ozzie. My husband Roger (deceased 2015) & Ozzie worked together at Caterpillar & after work Roger took karate classes. Ozzie always had a smile and always helping everyone. When I worked at Joliet Central High School with at risk students, Ozzie was so much help as I worked to get students off the street.
Peggy & all the family, you are in my thoughts & prayers. I am in Florida & cannot attend but I want you to know I will be thinking of you all.
GM Ozzie was an inspiration to the martial arts community and to the community in general. Though not a direct student of his, my brother and I were always welcomed with open arms as friends in the arts. We would visit the Mitchell's periodically at PCC or attend the April tournanment just to catch up. It was always a pleasure. I want to wish comfort and peace to the Mitchell family during this difficult time. May you be blessed by love and the greatness of his legacy.
Thank you for helping me during some tough times when I was younger. You were the most selfless man I have ever met. People come and go into our lives, but there are the very few who leave an imprint on your heart. You did just that and I’m so lucky to have known you. Rest Easy❤️
My condolences to the family, I’m truly greatful to have known such a great Sensei, to be blessed by his teaching and words. You will be missed God Bless you Sensei and may god have you in his glory.
